Amanda Murley

Coach

Amanda began synchronized skating in 1996 and skated at the Preliminary through Senior, Collegiate and Adult levels. Her achievements include seven national medals, including two national gold medals and various International medals. She was part of Team U.S.A. for Synchronized Skating from 2001 – 2005.

Amanda was most recently head coach of the Onyx Synchro Skills 1 Team, as well as assistant for the Onyx Novice team, and has worked with the synchro teams at the Onyx for more than 10 years.  Amanda began coaching approximately twelve years ago and has been involved in both U.S.F.S. and I.S.I. Learn to Skate programs as well as individual coaching, Special Olympics and synchronized skating.

Amanda graduated from Michigan State University where she was a member of the synchronized skating team from 2005 - 2008 and was Vice President of the team for both the 2007 and 2008 seasons. She is a graduate of the DePaul University College of Law and works full-time in employment law.
