ROCHESTER, MICH., October 9, 2020 – It’s a new day for synchronized skating at Lakeland Arena!

Onyx Infinity Synchronized Skating is proud to announce the participation of Lakeland Skating Club, Waterford, Mich., 

n a multi-club partnership to offer teams of all levels to skaters. This new partnership already includes committed skaters from four rinks across metro Detroit: St. Clair Shores FSC, Mt. Clemens FSC and ONYX Suburban Skating Academy in Rochester and Macomb.

Onyx Infinity continues to be led by Director Helene Wolf and Deanna Willmarth and staffed by the current synchronized skating coaches, including Heather Blasko, Sara Jack-Grzymkowski, Tracey Daniels, Amanda Murley and Kelsey Roggenbuch.  The new partnership welcomes Karen Felice, a longtime coach with Lakeland SC, to the Onyx Infinity Staff.

“With the large collaboration of skaters and clubs, we are able to field very competitive, large teams in each division,” said Director Helene Wolf. “We welcome Lakeland Skating Club to our growing program and cannot wait to work together toward greater success.”

“Lakeland’s addition to our program is not only going to assist in our teams’ development, but will bring exciting new opportunities to our skaters in a seamless effort to promote synchronized Skating!” said Director Deanna Willmarth.

Team Placement for Lakeland Skating Club members will be held on Friday, October 2 and October 9, from 7:10 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Lakeland Ice Arena.
